The deluxe soaker pad features a non-woven adhesive border, offering water-resistant backing that makes it ideal for use on incision sites, pressure ulcers, and partial or full-thickness wounds. However, it is contraindicated for third-degree burns and patients with a known sensitivity to the dressing components.

The composite island dressing comprises four distinct layers, providing versatile application options, including as a primary or secondary dressing.

The first layer is a non-adherent contact layer that shields the wound site while avoiding adherence to granulating tissue. The second layer is a soft pad that absorbs drainage and provides cushioning. The third layer is a water-resistant nonwoven backing with an adhesive border to secure the dressing firmly in place.
